Location

Denver, Colorado

Role

Team Lead - Designed the house in Revit and made all of the 3d printed furniture.

Date

February, 2020

The goal of this project was to make a tiny house that was about the size of a 40 ft storage container that would have no impact on the environment. We decided on a solution that incorporated solar panels and water that would disperse out into the area that it was in. We 3d printed and laser cut everything to show that these houses could be easily manufacturable. Everything was also made magnetic so that the walls could be taken apart and all of the furniture could be pulled out and moved around. This was to exemplify the modularity of the solution. I took a lot of time designing the house and all of the furniture in Revit and working through the best layout. I also came up with the layout for the lights and the outlets. You can see the lights on the roof of the house when it is flipped over. In addition, I made the majority of the 3d prints in Blender and took care to make them printable. This project was made for the Technology Student Association and made it to the Semi-finals.
